Ljubica Bukorovic

Ophthalmology Pharmacist, Metro South Health

Ljubica was born in Bosnia & Herzegovina. She migrated to Australia with her family in 1995 seeking refuge following civil war in Bosnia. She completed Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Pharmacy at University of Qld, graduating in 2005. She spent majority of her professional life managing community pharmacies before opting for a change of scenery and settling in Queensland Health in 2017 where she completed Graduate Diploma of Clinical Pharmacy in 2020. She has secured permanent funding for a full-time novel role pharmacist within Ophthalmology Department at Princess Alexandra Hospital and has been in the role of Ophthalmology Pharmacist for the past 5 years. Her great passion is in improving patient outcomes via cost-effective and sustainable health care.
